Saturday Apr 07, 2018
Even when they aren't technically "on the rag", they still find things to vent about! This month, Heather and Nicole crank on Trump ("ugh, he's still President"), then promptly tackle the issues of little stickers that come on fruit, the automated soap, faucets and hand dryers in rest rooms, the push/pull door dilemma, budget airlines ("Spirit can ruin your life"), family planning ("a hostile uterus"?), big city dwellers and more. So, buckle up, because these girls are unleashing some hilarious observations. Perhaps a bit more calmly today but wait til next month. The rage shall resume! Thursday Feb 22, 2018
Welcome to episode 39 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews Aussie author EJ Noyes. EJ’s debut novel “Ask, Tell” was one of the most talked about in lesbian fiction last year, and she’s recently followed it up with her second book, the deliciously sexy “Turbulence”. EJ tells me about juggling multiple plots in her head, the surprise of her first novel flying off the shelves and how she’s a plane nerd at heart.
Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, and fills you in on what she’s been up to, including releasing three audiobooks: London Calling, This London Love and A Girl Called London are out now, and Twice In A Lifetime is coming next month. Classic Lesbian Lounge Show - Dec 10, 2008
Thursday Dec 07, 2017
Thursday Dec 07, 2017
'Tis the season! This show was a crazy recap of the very first meeting with Jemma from Oz (way before she and Denise got married) when she had travelled to the States with her little gay boy buddy, James. Their four days in South Florida meeting the entire bunch of Lesbian Lounge hosts and crew are detailed in somewhat foggy fashion as the wildness is pieced together from what can be remembered. Jemma, herself, calls in from the hotel in California, the next stop after Florida, to rehash the events and fill in our blanks. Places, food, drinks, and parties are dished about as well as hook ups, and epic fails. Also, we hear from musician Julie Schurr and filmmaker Linda Andersson. Happy, filthy, fun from back in December 2008. We hope everyone has a great 2017 Holiday and a fantastic New Year 2018. Cheers, to all our loyal listeners for showing the ongoing love and to the newbies who are just discovering the podcast: BRACE YOURSELVES, it only gets nuttier as the years go on! Rag Time - Ep. 21 - Dec. 6, 2017
Wednesday Dec 06, 2017
Wednesday Dec 06, 2017
It's a festive delight as Heather and Nicole unleash a wrath of gripes aimed at Trump and his merry band of predators and colluders. The girls rage about the Mysterious Midnight Tax Bill scam, Flippin' Mike Flynn and jerky Jared. Single-handedly taking on the holidays, Heather goes off on the a$$hole magnet that is the Rockerfeller Christmas tree and how tourists ruin everything. Holiday shopping takes it's toll when the parking lot is filled people who feel the need to back into spots and of course, the girls cover the whole sexual harrassment movement, pondering the thought: "what if women and men could swap genitals for a month"?
