Marina Rice Bader - "Anatomy of A Love Seen"

Denise has a great conversation with film maker Marina Rice Bader.

You recognise her name & face and you know she was a producer of "Elena Undone" and "A Perfect Ending" but Marina is flying solo these days as a director of a new feature length film called "Anatomy of A Love Seen" which debuts at Outfest in Los Angeles on July 18th. Here's my one-on-one, very candid chat with her discussing the film, her unique approach to film making- an improvised script- shooting in just 5 days, the idea behind a world-wide online release of the film (July 19th), her cast, the challenges of motherhood, Facebook, and what the future of film making holds for her.

2009-Nov. 25th Lesbian Lounge- (A "Best Of" Show)

The year was 2009- it's a pre-Thanksgiving Drunk-Dial Show- it's packed with drinking, Mom laughs, celebrity prank phone calls including Chantal Carrere, Dana Goldberg, Lisa Thrasher, Cathy DeBuono, Amy Tee, Julie Schurr, Shannon Wentworth, Carly Pope and more. Denise drunkingly purposes to Jemma on the air. This one is a classic. 

2005-Dirty White Chicks: "Porn Star Interview"

You've heard them talk about the old days. You've heard them mention "Dirty White Chicks" a podcast show Denise & Donna used to do in 2005 for YNotRadio - Well, here's one of those shows. Brace yourself for some completely foul, irreverent behaviour - as Denise hosts this straight, male-centric, pornographic comedy show with Donna as her ace news reporter, "Crack"...because she reported on butt cracks all over the world. The producer back then was Johnny Brasco, and our resident fetish expert was the lovely Lisa from Tampa. Just a reminder, this is a completely different type of show than what you're used to as a "Lesbian Lounge" fan or listener. We apologise in advance....and please...don't hold it against us- we were younger and way more stupid. 

The year was 2005, and Denise gets to interview a Light Speed Girl porn model, along with her weekly segments: Lesbian Tips for The Straight Guy, The Fetish File, Big Fat Gay News, and The Jenna Jameson Moment.

The girls catch up on their super fun weekends- Denise at the Country Cow Pie Festival and her Eurovision party and Donna attending the Aqua Foundations VIP Cocktail Reception where she was awarded for Community Leader, and then a great re-connect with an old friend of theirs from "the good old days". Shout Outs are announced, and an audio clip of Denise's SHE Magazine (www.shemag.com) interview with Bravo TV's Tabatha Coffey is shared. Hot Topics are discussed, Donna launches her Masturbation Month of May series. The girls play an audio clip of Denise's SHE Magazine interview with Laura Prepon (www.shemag.com) News and Hot Topics roll on, a contest for 2 free tickets to MissFit's "Carnival" night on May 23rd at Scala, Kings Cross, London, and the girls answer 2 new emails from listeners Julia and Rhonda. A spotlight on The L-Project's new charity single "We're All Human" which is available on iTunes and Amazon and already has over 15,000 YouTube views as it climbs the charts while all the proceeds go to LGBT charities.
