Welcome to episode 39 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews Aussie author EJ Noyes. EJ’s debut novel “Ask, Tell” was one of the most talked about in lesbian fiction last year, and she’s recently followed it up with her second book, the deliciously sexy “Turbulence”. EJ tells me about juggling multiple plots in her head, the surprise of her first novel flying off the shelves and how she’s a plane nerd at heart.

Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, and fills you in on what she’s been up to, including releasing three audiobooks: London Calling, This London Love and A Girl Called London are out now, and Twice In A Lifetime is coming next month. Clare would love to hear who you’d like on the podcast – so email her at:mail@clarelydon.co.uk

Welcome to 2018, it's Rag Time! Starting off with a bang, or rather-a burp- Heather and Nicole are back and venting about all new things this year. Today, the ladies rant about Trump and his gold digger wife, and then somehow veer into twat pimples, their mutual hate of Tom Brady and his white guy privilege, the unspoken rules of rush hour walking and driving, the caffiene jitters, and finally Bitcoin. 'Tis the season! This show was a crazy recap of the very first meeting with Jemma from Oz (way before she and Denise got married) when she had travelled to the States with her little gay boy buddy, James. Their four days in South Florida meeting the entire bunch of Lesbian Lounge hosts and crew are detailed in somewhat foggy fashion as the wildness is pieced together from what can be remembered. Jemma, herself, calls in from the hotel in California, the next stop after Florida, to rehash the events and fill in our blanks. Places, food, drinks, and parties are dished about as well as hook ups, and epic fails. Also, we hear from musician Julie Schurr and filmmaker Linda Andersson. Happy, filthy, fun from back in December 2008. We hope everyone has a great 2017 Holiday and a fantastic New Year 2018. Cheers, to all our loyal listeners for showing the ongoing love and to the newbies who are just discovering the podcast: BRACE YOURSELVES, it only gets nuttier as the years go on! It's a festive delight as Heather and Nicole unleash a wrath of gripes aimed at Trump and his merry band of predators and colluders. The girls rage about the Mysterious Midnight Tax Bill scam, Flippin' Mike Flynn and jerky Jared. Single-handedly taking on the holidays, Heather goes off on the a$$hole magnet that is the Rockerfeller Christmas tree and how tourists ruin everything. Holiday shopping takes it's toll when the parking lot is filled people who feel the need to back into spots and of course, the girls cover the whole sexual harrassment movement, pondering the thought: "what if women and men could swap genitals for a month"?  To catch more of these ladies, check out their regular podcast "P-Cast" and follow them on Twitter @Puss_cast

The girls celebrate Halloween with a bitch-fest over their favorite USA network show being cancelled and then launch into a tirade on everything from being sick with a throat tickle and cough that makes you pee yourself to annoying sounds singers make, to being distracted by someone's spit (spittle). Yes, it's "Gross Things", perfectly fitting for Halloween! Cheers with your queer beers! Rag on, friends! Enjoy another classic from July of 2008, when we had Lori Michaels (www.lorimichaelsmusic.com) call in, we discuss cheesy pick up lines, introduce a new summer drink called The Lunch Box, and some cool websites. We gush over the discovery of Pei Wei Restuarant and we review a short film called "Break A Leg, Rosie" starring Carly Pope, plus we answer some questons from Jemma and critique some lesbian online personal ads. Good stuff from back in the good ol' days!

Heather and Nicole are back for your monthly Rag Time vent-fest! This month they tackle man nips, lazy elevator hogs, the crisis in Puerto Rico, and they do some stellar impressions of Steve Mnunchin! They even end on the high note with the fact that "Will and Grace" is back on TV, ripping on the current administration like a good gay should. You can follow them on Twitter @Puss_Cast and tune into their regular show here.

Welcome to episode 35 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews fellow UK author Emma Nichols whose debut novel “Finding You” was released in July, and her follow up “Remember Me” just two weeks later. Both books shot to the top of the charts all around the globe at breathtaking speed and Emma talks about her runaway success and how she managed it, along with the transition from writing non-fiction to making her mark in the fiction-writing world. That, and we also discuss the frankly bonkers amount of booze her characters drink! Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as talking about the upcoming Diva Literary Festival in Birmingham on Nov 3rd-5th. Get your tickets now and she’ll see you there! Plus, she talks about Louise Wallweim's new book of poetry and performance piece, "Glue".
