He's got a cocktail with a bourbon base, infused with pipe tobacco, kissed with a special pistachio simple syrup, regular and red vermouths - the whole thing makes you want to sit in a nail headed leather chair by the fire and make offers that no one can refuse. With JD stuck at work, Denise welcomes her old friend Robert Boo from The Pride Center at Equality Park, in Wilton Manors, South Florida. Robert explains all that went on during the pandemic and how they turned those challenging times into a sort of rebirth, moving to online services, a renovation of the center and a brand new 15 million dollar LGBT senior living complex complete with 3000 sq ft mural. As Pride Month rolls on, JD and Denise have their mixologist, Tyler, back and he's brought on a moonshine from North Carolina, called Saint Luna, from the Saint Luna Spirits and Distilling company, a gay-owned and operated business.
