JD and Denise welcome Shannon Ronan to the show to discuss her book "Coming Out Together- Memoirs on the LGBTQ+ Experience" which is a compilation of stories from our LGBTQ+ communities across the map, each beautiful and unique. Shannon explains how the idea came about, and how people's stories affected and inspired her. The book, due out in May 2023 is a diverse, personal collection of out coming out stories from people who reached back to her when Shannon put the call out. As Pride Month rolls on, JD and Denise have their mixologist, Tyler, back and he's brought on a moonshine from North Carolina, called Saint Luna, from the Saint Luna Spirits and Distilling company, a gay-owned and operated business.
