Denise and JD welcome our friend Katie Hall to the show to discuss the long running LGBTQ+ Softball Club, the London Raiders. Katie has been a member slash player for 17 years and is now a manager, as well. We talk about club traditions, its mission, how inclusive they are, how welcoming it is - even for newbies and how much it's grown over the years. With JD stuck in traffic from Florida rain floods, Denise chats with Alistar (Ali) Brown, a U.K. gay guy who created a fun card game called "Fxcking Phesants" during the pandemic while he was staying with his parents at the time. They discuss their connection through a mutual friend who brought his card game to a recent Game Night. Denise asks Ali the process of creating a card game, crowd funding, about the art work, the trials, the big UK Games Convention, and the possibility of distribution plus marketing and what's next for Ali. This insightful, fun, out and proud member of our LGBTQ community is a force to be reckoned with as she fund raises for her budget, writes, directs stars and handle the marketing and promo all while juggling a teaching day job and being an actor in other projects ("My Best Friend's Girl", "Superbad").
