Denise and JD welcome Denise's younger cousin Kris Vanone to the show to discuss how important LGBTQ allies are to our community. Denise learned that Kris took her whole family to Buffalo Pride and they wore their "Free Mom and Dad Hugs" shirts while their son twirled his rainbow flag with the parade participants. Kris talked how emotional she got during the hugs and how it's vital to teach her son acceptance, and encourage him to embrace others. With JD stuck in traffic from Florida rain floods, Denise chats with Alistar (Ali) Brown, a U.K. gay guy who created a fun card game called "Fxcking Phesants" during the pandemic while he was staying with his parents at the time. They discuss their connection through a mutual friend who brought his card game to a recent Game Night. Denise asks Ali the process of creating a card game, crowd funding, about the art work, the trials, the big UK Games Convention, and the possibility of distribution plus marketing and what's next for Ali.
