JD and Denise welcome the multi-talented, insanely busy Hannah Leach from Cleveland. She produces podcasts for Evergreen Podcasts, and hosts her own show "SleepOver Cinema". For the interview section Clare puts herself in the hot seat, revealing her take on 2021, along with her plans for 2022. She might be stopping this podcast, but she plans to fill her time writing more lesbian romance novels, producing more audiobooks and getting her stories translated around the globe.

International singer and songwriter Jessi Campo drops in on us from Miami, on her way to New Orleans. JD celebrates with some spicy rum, while Denise goes for a hard apple cider with a Fireball floater on top. Jessi tells us about the EEIM (Eastern European Independent Movies) Award for her single "LeGrimas Negras", as well as being thrilled her music has been used in the Amazon Prime series "Gentrified", plus she talks about her career and the influences of her Latin parents. Denise has a chat with Joe Galliano of Queer Britain, a charity organisation that's steadily raising the funds for Britain's first Queer Museum! Joe tells us about the "Madame F" Art Award happening now- what it is, a little about the judges, the phenonmenal prize package and what's in store as the company moves toward an actual brick and mortar building. JD and Denise have a fantastic chat with Miami's Marky G, long time disc jockey, host, presenter and the main juggler of all things for the annual LGBTQ+ Film Festivals. We discuss this year's OutShineFilm Festival - going on NOW-and what it means to the community, running for 24 years in Miami and 13 years in Fort Lauderdale. Mark talks about how the festivals have evolved, what you can expect this year and how they've adapted during these Covid times. Denise and Mark reminisce a bit about how Mark gave Denise her start as a presenter over 20 years ago on an FM dance music station Party 93.1 when it was unheard of for a gay radio talk show to be on your radio. Welcome to episode 72 of the Lesbian Book Club, where Clare interviews UK author Laura Kay. Her debut novel “The Split” has been described as like “meeting Marian Keyes and Dawn O’Porter in a gay bar in Sheffield.” Laura tells us about writing it: “I wanted to write about a friendship between a queer woman and a queer man, and it was just a joy.” She also talks about how Sheffield is the worst place to run “crazy hilly and cold!”, and how she could never live on a houseboat.
