The girls celebrate Halloween with a bitch-fest over their favorite USA network show being cancelled and then launch into a tirade on everything from being sick with a throat tickle and cough that makes you pee yourself to annoying sounds singers make, to being distracted by someone's spit (spittle). Yes, it's "Gross Things", perfectly fitting for Halloween! Cheers with your queer beers! Rag on, friends! Welcome to episode 36 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews fellow UK author Wendy Hudson who’s just released her second crime-thriller “Mine To Keep”. Her debut novel “Four Steps” won a Goldie award for Best Debut Novel in 2016 and she talks about setting her books in Scotland, how to create a character that readers love and how she sets up suspense in her books & keeps it going. Wendy also reveals how she fits in writing around her day job, the mantras that spur her on and her favourite crime writers in lesfic. Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as celebrating the fact that her new book “Twice In A Lifetime” is out now! Hooray! It’s a second-chance romance set in Chicago and is available now on Amazon. Clare will be reading from her new novel at the upcoming Diva Literary Festival in Birmingham on Nov 3rd-5th. Enjoy another classic from July of 2008, when we had Lori Michaels (www.lorimichaelsmusic.com) call in, we discuss cheesy pick up lines, introduce a new summer drink called The Lunch Box, and some cool websites. We gush over the discovery of Pei Wei Restuarant and we review a short film called "Break A Leg, Rosie" starring Carly Pope, plus we answer some questons from Jemma and critique some lesbian online personal ads. Good stuff from back in the good ol' days!

Heather and Nicole are back for your monthly Rag Time vent-fest! This month they tackle man nips, lazy elevator hogs, the crisis in Puerto Rico, and they do some stellar impressions of Steve Mnunchin! They even end on the high note with the fact that "Will and Grace" is back on TV, ripping on the current administration like a good gay should. You can follow them on Twitter @Puss_Cast and tune into their regular show here.

Welcome to episode 35 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews fellow UK author Emma Nichols whose debut novel “Finding You” was released in July, and her follow up “Remember Me” just two weeks later. Both books shot to the top of the charts all around the globe at breathtaking speed and Emma talks about her runaway success and how she managed it, along with the transition from writing non-fiction to making her mark in the fiction-writing world. That, and we also discuss the frankly bonkers amount of booze her characters drink! Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as talking about the upcoming Diva Literary Festival in Birmingham on Nov 3rd-5th. Get your tickets now and she’ll see you there! Plus, she talks about Louise Wallweim's new book of poetry and performance piece, "Glue". The party preparations are under way for later in the week, but the ladies are drinking on the air, which is always makes it fun. Stayed tuned after the show for a special message from Denise. In November of 2009, fresh off the Sweet Cruise, we did the 4th Annual Drunk Dial show on the eve of Thanksgiving and drunkenly spoke to musicians Julie Schurr and JD Danner as well as comedian Dana Goldberg. We also left a drunk voicemail for poor Cathy DeBuono (AGAIN!), and bothered lesbian event promoter Alison Burgos on her busiest night of the year. But, the best call was to actress Carly Pope ("Popular", "Arrow", "Suits", "YPF" "Elysium" "Itty Bitty Titty Committee") while she was on the set, filming a movie with Eric McCormack ("Will and Grace"). Ever the classy broads, we end on a bang when Denise proposed to Jemma on the air. Subscribe now so you won't miss any of our vintage classic shows as we re-play them all summer long.

Welcome to episode 34 of the Lesbian Book Club with UK author Clare Lydon as she interviews US author Kate Christie who’s written many books including "Training Ground", "Game Time", “In The Company Of Women” and "Gay Pride And Prejudice". Her books take in romance, the army, and soccer, and in this interview we get the nitty gritty on Kate’s writing style, the low down on why she took on the Jane Austen classic, and how she thinks writing lesbian fiction is a political act in today’s climate. Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as talking about the upcoming Diva Literary Festival in Birmingham on Nov 3rd-5th. Get your tickets now and she’ll see you there! Who could forget the time we had "The L Word" star Janina Gavankar ("Papi") on the show? Back in September 2009, we had the funnest interview ever with the L Word star, calling in from her LA home and sharing with us with set gossip, laughs, music and family antecdotes all while taking questions from the live chat room listeners. We also discuss one of our first visits from Hazel, our London listener who flew in to Florida to meet us before we embarked on the inaugural Sweet Cruise. Good stuff, good memories and good times! Be sure you're subscribed to our feed for all of our classic Lesbian Lounge shows this summer as we re-live some of our best times and best guest interviews!

May 28, 2008: Fresh off of a live appearence at the first ever SpaceCoast Pride (near the Melbourne area of South Florida) the girls re-live the trip, the performances, the crowd, and all the fun of the successful event. Other highlights on the show include drink of the week, a hilarious segment on anal beads, and the absolute total shredding of some lesbian personal ads off the internet. Good times, good laughs, good friends. Hope you're enjoying the "summer classics" of 2008-2010 because it's been a blast putting them back up! Back in 2008 (March, to be exact) when we gave a crap about The Dinah, we had the event headliners make the rounds on our show and lucky for us the fabulous Jane Lynch ("Glee", "40 Year Old Virgin", "Best In Show" "The L Word") called in and hung out with us! We also had funny lady Suzanne Westenhoefer give us a ring to chat about her impending Dinah appearance. Later, we talk about work, drinks, the hotties of the week, the personal ads, and we take a few questions from Jemma. Keep up with us, be sure you are subscribed to get these re-vamped old, classic shows all summer long! Follow us on Twitter at @LesbianLounge  or visit MyLesbianRadio.com
