Welcome to episode 53 of the Lesbian Book Club with Clare Lydon as she interviews US author Monica McCallan. Monica has been writing and publishing for two years and her other novels include “Back To The Start”, “Better Than A Dream” and “Sweat Equity”. She talks about working at her craft, juggling a full-time job, listening to readers and how much she loves craft beer.

Clare also does a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK. She talks about what she’s been up to, including launching A Taste Of Love, book two in The Village Romance Series; and commissioning the audio for You’re My Kind. Way back in 2007, the gang from MyLesbianRadio and The Lesbian Lounge recorded a comedy soap opera called "All My Girlfriends" about a group of lesbian friends living in South Florida. With only 13 episodes, it was ground breaking at the time and a huge undertaking. The script was by Denise, the production was by Vicki, our producer and the voice actors included Denise, Donna, and our real life friends who donated their talents and time to create our characters: Bailey, Lane, Muffy, TJ, Jess,G, Jewels, and Deena. So, pulled from the archives of files, here is episode one:

Struggling comedian Bailey agrees to finally do some self promotion at the advice of her manager Deena Jones and the dismay of her bestie, Lane.
